In-House Pet Care
RATES:
I don't like to set a fee. I want Kara Care to be accessible to all. I have always let my past clients pay what they feel is appropriate, and I have always felt the pay was fair. You are entrusting me with a member of your family, and that should be worth something to you. So use your best discretion and I'm sure both you, your pet and I will be happy. The great thing about Kara Care is that I don't require all the paperwork that a typical boarding kennel would. A boarding kennel requires: proof that your pet is current on all vaccines, that your pet is spaded or neutered and that your pet is on a flea prevention program. And if you're still wondering what price is fair, kennels charge anywhere from $40-$80/day depending on the size and the number of dogs you board. That price can also fluctuate depending on the quality of care your pet receives. If you're still not sure, just ask! We can figure out a price together.
HOW IT WORKS:
Before any agreements are made, we'll schedule a time for me to come to your house for an initial "meet & greet." We'll make sure everyone is comfortable with one another before any commitments are made. After all, this is your home and your ​loved ones that I'll be caring for, you deserve to feel 100% comfortable with the situation. It's during this meeting that we'll discuss your expectations from me and me from you. At this point, you decide if you want to move forward with the services of Kara Care, or not. It's that simple.
WHAT IS KARA CARE?

Kara Care is an In-Home Pet Care service. It's your alternative to a boarding kennel. I come and stay in your home and care for your pet while you are away. Pets are creatures of habit; by staying in their own home they are able to follow their normal eating, medication, and excerise routines. Such familiarity contributes to the happiness and health of the pet. Not only do I care for your pet while you are away, I also watch after your home, pick up your mail and water the plants. Knowing your pets, (and home), are properly cared for and given the attention they need, will allow your vacation to be pet/stress free! Plus, I'm reachable at all times, so if you feel you need to check in, feel free to do so!
