MY STORY:

Let me start by saying that I love what I do.  My first childhood dog was Taboo, a large St. Bernard who acted as my personal gardian when I was just a wee one.  Then there was Freckles, a sweet mutt we picked up from the pound.  My mother tells me I was terrified of Freckles when we went to pick her up.  I was screaming and crying for days.  Then I cried for days when she passed away many years later, because by then I had learned how important and precious animals are in our lives.  Then came Gracie, my own little savior I picked up from the Santa Monica Farmers market.  I went to the market that day to pick up an eggplant and came home with Gracie and no eggplant.  And because one is never enough, (and I coudn't resist the "Free Dogs" poster on my neighborhood telephone pole), Gracie got a sister we call Jackie.  Jackie was just a few months old when I took her home and I quickly learned that with puppies comes MAJOR responsibility and major delight.  Gracie and Jackie  currently reside in Idaho with their  "Grandma & Grandpa." There have also been several other dogs I have fostered throughout the years.  All of whom stole my heart and then broke it when they were adopted into their "forever homes."  Here's where you come in.
